How can we create policies?

If you want to create your policies, reading this will help you start working on them from scratch.

There are three steps to follow:

• Drafting a policy
• Control objective
• Activate

Drafting a policy

Go to the Create Policy page and start drafting your Policy.

You can name it and put details like the purpose, components, and scope.

Control objective

Compliance managers catalog control objectives and create controls based on those objectives.

Although control objectives might span several references from various authoritative sources, they only pertain to a single policy. 

They may be divided into classification, category, and type

You can name a control objective and select indicators from below:

1. Custom indicator: This is customizable
2. System indicator: Cognitive View provides this to you, and it has the below parameters mentioned.

You can select from the indicators and add them as per your policy needs.
